Masters at Work is a bi-weekly show where Libertas Music Radio invites some true Masters; established or promising DJ’s/ Producers from all over the world. These Masters will take you on their musical journey with a showcase set, broadcasted on Saturday from 8 – 9pm CET every two weeks. Austin Dest is a DJ and producer from the heart of Amsterdam. Growing up surrounded by music, she developed a strong love for all kinds of genres. She started playing the piano at a young age, and in her early 20s, she discovered House and Deep House. This sparked her passion for electronic music and led her to start producing and get behind the decks. As part of the producer/DJ duo Austin Martin, she released tracks on Cinematique Records and Particles/Proton. More recently, she began dropping her first solo records on labels First Impression and Movement Recordings. Her love for thick bass lines, funk, and soul shines through in her unique sound, which has grown into a mix of house and progressive, with a bit of techno. She blends different grooves and styles into an energetic yet deep sound that will keep you hooked!
